The Lebanese Army has arrested a suspect for smuggling 248 kilograms of items used to manufacture drugs.
The military said in a statement issued that Mohammad Rayed had been arrested by the army's intelligence one day before on the Labweh-Arsal road in the Baalbek Valley.
The suspect had packed the confiscated items inside a truck.
Rayed is currently being questioned. He will be referred to the judiciary to stand trial.
