NNA - The Lebanese Army Command's Orientation Directorate issued on Wednesday the following statement:

"Army forces in Akkar arrested 17 people of Syrian nationality for illegal presence in Lebanon. The army confiscated one car and 10 motorcycles lacking legal papers.

"All the arrestees and the confiscated stuff were handed over to competent authorities for further action."
