The Lebanese Armed Forces' Orientation Directorate issued on Sunday the following communiqué:

"In the framework of pursuing wanted persons and suspects, a LAF unit raided at dawn today numerous locales in the town of Bhannine-Minnyeh, and apprehended Fadi Ahmad Saj for his involvement in an attack on the army during recent events in the region. The LAF also arrested Hussein and Shawki Ali Breiss for suspicion of involvement with terrorist organizations.

Separately, the armed forces caught at dawn today in the locality of Faytroun one Elie Issam Jamal while in the process of breaking and entering into a cellular-phone shop. Jamal fired at the soldiers, who retaliated to the fire, injuring the burglar. The thief was then taken to hospital for treatment."
