On 15 July 15, the Lebanese Army Forces (LAF) seized two vehicles filled with smuggled arms on the Riyaq - Baalbek road in the Bekaa Valley. An army intelligence patrol intercepted the two vehicles and clashed with the passengers injuring one of them. LAF immediately imposed a security cordon around the Riyaq Hospital to which the injured man was transferred. LAF also managed to arrest all the individuals who were in the seized vehicles.
