The LAF Orientation Directorate said in a statement on Sunday that the army continued its military operations against terrorist groups in the city of Tripoli and its surroundings.
The statement added that military units expanded their area of deployment in the town of Bab-Tabbaneh, responded to fired, and searched the premises for terrorist militia.
The communiqué stated that a military force raided at dawn on Sunday the Salam school in Bhannine where militiamen were hiding. Many of them were injured and others were arrested, while the rest fled.
The army seized two booby-trapped cars, one a Rapid and the other a Mercedes, near Salam school.
