وطنية - صدر عن المكتب الاعلامي لنائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الدفاع الوطني سمير مقبل البيان الاتي :" نتيجة الشكاوى التي وردت الى وزارة الدفاع الوطني حول قيام مجموعات مسلحة بالتعرض لبعض الاشخاص على طريق سير الضنيه - الهرمل، قامت مديرية المخابرات بمؤازرة من وحدات الجيش المنتشرة في المنطقة بتسيير دوريات على كافة الطرق، وتنفيذ مداهمات لمنازل مشبوهة أسفرت عن توقيف عدد من المطلوبين ومصادرة كميات من الاسلحة والذخائر اضافة الى كمية كبيرة من المخدرات.
وقد تم اتخاذ اجراءات باقامة نقاط مراقبة وحواجز ثابتة وتسيير دوريات ومتابعة المداهمات".
