On 16 May 16, armed clashes erupted in Borj Brajneh-Aain El Delbe , Al Munzer Street, which left a number of wounded. The clashes took place between members of Al Munzer who used machine guns and grenades, while a large number of militants spread across the area. The Lebanese army cordoned the area from outside and deployed a number of vehicles, without entering the fighting zone.
