Three people were killed, including a child, and three others wounded in a gunfight between members of a family in the east Lebanon city of Baalbeck. The National News Agency reported that a gunfight erupted Saturday between the members of Shouman family over a traffic dispute. Sareen Fawqa municipal member Aref Shouman and the children of Shouman Shouman were initially involved in the incident over road priority. The dispute developed into armed clashes, killing Mohammad Zalfo Shouman and soldier Shouman Shouman, and wounding three others. One of the wounded was in a critical condition, according to the NNA. The NNA said that a number of different kinds of weapons were used in the gunbattle. The news agency later said that a child, identified as Hussein Shouman, was killed in the armed clashes. The Lebanese Army deployed in the area in search of the gunmen and to restore calm.
