On 17 Feb 15, the Lebanese Army Forces (LAF) continued the implementation of the security plan in the northern Bekaa region, carrying out a series of arrests during various raids. Nine (9) Syrian nationals were arrested for illegally entering the country and two (2) wanted Lebanese nationals were detained. The army also confiscated around 50 kilograms of narcotics, impounded six vehicles for lacking proper legal papers, and seized a number of military equipment and light ammunition.
