LAF carries out raids, arrests suspected Syrians

The Lebanese Armed Forces Orientation Directorate issued on Friday the following statement:
"In the framework of preserving security and stability, a LAF task force raided a number of construction sites in Hazmieh inhabited by Syrian workers, and apprehended twelve of them for failing to present legal papers. Five wireless communication devices were confiscated from said detainees.
In the Marj locality, the LAF arrested 45 Syrian nationals who had no legal papers, and one Hussein Ali Al Hadi for facilitating the movement of said Syrians from one region to another.
The LAF captured Syrian Mohammad Abdou Taweer in Bir Hassan locality. Taweer was loitering near a foreign embassy, impersonating a Lebanese citizen, and driving an illegal motorcycle.
All the detainees were handed over to specialized authorities for further measures."
