أعلنت قيادة الجيش اللبناني في بيان أنه "بعد عملية رصد وتعقب لمروجي المخدرات في محلة أنطلياس، قامت دورية من مديرية المخابرات بتوقيف كل من اللبناني (ع.ص)، والسوريين (ع.غ) و (ع.ك) بعد إطلاق عناصر الدورية النار بإتجاه إطارات السيارة التي كانوا يستقلونها لدى محاولتهم الفرار وصدم عناصر الدورية دون وقوع إصابات، وقد ضبط بحوذتهم كمية من المخدرات"
