The Lebanese Armed Forces Orientation Directorate issued on Sunday the following statement:

"As part of the security plan for the Bekaa region, units from the army and security forces apprehended on Sunday 33 wanted and suspected people. The LAF also confiscated nine cars and 26 motorcycles that did not have any legal papers. An amount of drugs, military gear, light weapons and artillery were also seized.

The suspects and the confiscated material were handed over to specialized authorities."
