NNA - After thorough investigations and intense monitoring, Central anti-drug Bureau of the judicial police managed to arrest a Syrian ship captain (the mastermind of a drugs network) in the area of Corniche Mazraa for smuggling drugs via the Mediterranean sea to Europe, Libya and Egypt, Internal Security Forces Directorate General said in a communiqué on Wednesday.
Investigations are currently underway under the supervision of the concerned judiciary to arrest other network culprits.
