اعلنت المديرية العامة لقوى الأمن الداخلي انه بتاريخ ١٩/٤/٢٠١٩ وفي محلة ابي سمراء/ طرابلس، ونتيجة للاستقصاءات والتحريات المكثفة، تمكنت دورية من مكتب مكافحة الجرائم المالية وتبييض الاموال في وحدة الشرطة القضائية من توقيف مروجي عملة مزيفة، وهما اللبنانيان:- م. ب. (مواليد عام ١٩٩٠)- ع. ش. (مواليد عام ١٩٩٣) وضبطت بحوزتهما مبلغ /١٠٠/ ألف دولار اميركي مزيف من فئة المئة دولار.التحقيق جار بإشراف القضاء المختص.
