An Israeli military boat violated Lebanese territorial waters off the coast of the southern Naqoura area early Tuesday morning, according to an Army statement published Wednesday.

The boat allegedly entered Lebanese waters in two phases between 7:39 and 8:52 a.m. Tuesday, coming within 240 meters of shore.

The Lebanese Army is reportedly following up on the two violations in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, which is based in Naqoura.
