In an issued communiqué by the Lebanese Army Command Orientation Directorate, it indicated that "an Israeli gunboat violated the Lebanese territorial waters off Ras Naqoura at 7:50 a.m. Wednesday, to a distance of 260 meters for 3 minutes, succeeded by another breach of the same area at 8:14 a.m. to a distance 278 meters for 19 minutes."
"The incident is being followed-up in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon," the communiqué added.
