An Israeli patrol fired three smoke grenades towards a Lebanese Army Intelligence patrol on the outskirts of Blida in southern Lebanon.
 
The Army Intelligence troops were on their routine patrol in the town of Bir Shaeeb when the Israeli patrol launched three smoke grenades in their direction. Several soldiers lost consciousness and were quickly taken to a hospital for medical attention.
