On 12 Apr 15, armed elements belonging to ISIL kidnapped Lebanese citizen, Mustapha Houjeiry, from his place of work in the outskirts of Aarsal, then released him later on. The militants abducted Houjeiry from his stone cutting sawmill and confiscated a bulldozer. Hours later, the armed men let go of the man but kept the bulldozer.
