The Internal Security Forces arrested a man accused of attempted rape and sexually harassing multiple women in Beirut, the security agency reported in a statement Tuesday.
The Syrian national, identified as M.H., born in 1991, was arrested while he was on a black and red Bennett 150 motorcycle, the statement said, although the time and place of the arrest was not specified.
The suspect allegedly harassed women on different dates between the hours of 3:30 and 5 p.m., and attempted to rape a woman near Gemmayzeh - a street known for its bars and restaurants.
With CCTV footage serving as evidence, the court gave a green light to refer the suspect to the concerned body for investigations, the statement said.
