The Internal Security Forces Saturday announced the arrest of several persons on drug and counterfeiting charges in Kesrouan.

On Jan. 16, ISF personnel arrested Lebanese suspect H.F., born in 1986, seizing $900 in forged $100 denomination bills from the suspect. H.F. then reportedly admitted to having more fake currency at home, at which point the ISF raided his house, where $2,500 of fake bills in the same $100 denominations were found.

ISF personnel also recovered around 2 kilos of hashish, a quantity of marijuana, a sensitive scale, two Kalashnikov rifles, one pistol, three grenades, one smoke bomb, two 500-round boxes of bullets, a radio and other drug-related paraphernalia.
