NNA - Regional Gendarmerie members stationed at Tweiti checkpoint arrested a Syrian national on 17/05/2016 at 1.30 pm after midnight 05/17/201) for illegally smuggling seven people of Syrian nationality into Lebanon, aboard his "van" vehicle on Zahle-Dhour Choueir Highway, Internal Security Forces General Directorate said in a statement on Tuesday.
The ISF members seized the van, and referred all detainees to General Security General Directorate to take necessary action.
