The security forces raided a coffee shop owned by a generator owner in connection with a shootout between two power generator owners.

A Internal Security Forces’ officer was also arrested after it was uncovered that he was receiving bribes from power generator owners in Sidon, a security source told The Daily Star.

The officer, whose rank was identified as Sergeant Major, was arrested Wednesday, the source said.
