Police said that they arrested R.Y., a Palestinian national, in the northern town of Beddawi just next to Tripoli for the same charges. The statement said he was wanted on over 51 arrest warrants in absentia and seven other search warrants. He is currently being questioned by the judiciary.

On 13 Jan 16, in Beddawi Camp - Tripoli, as a result of intensive investigations and surveys, the regional anti-drug office in the north managed to arrest one of the most wanted drug trafficker, a Palestinian national, titled "POPEYE".
