On 09 Nov 16, the Internal Security Forces in north Lebanon detained a suspect charged with belonging to an extremist group. A.S. was arrested in Jabal Mohsen neighborhood in the northern city of Tripoli. The suspect was sentenced in absentia to 15 years of hard labor on charges of joining the ranks of a terror organization. The suspect was one of the most wanted fugitives in the area.
