The Internal Security Forces has uncovered a drug trafficking network that had coordinated with a Customs agent in Lebanon to smuggle large quantities of hashish and Captagon pills abroad, the agency reported Thursday. The network’s warehouse was in Beirut’s southern suburbs. Lebanese nationals and two Syrian nationals were arrested in simultaneous raids across Lebanon, in conjunction with the warehouse raid, where 2.2 tons of hashish were found.
