Three suspects were arrested over the weekend accused of manufacturing counterfeit money.
 
On October 21, after close cooperation with the Information Branch and Dahr al-Baydar ISF checkpoint, Lebanese nationals A.Z., A.N. and T.Z. were arrested.
 
Born in 1992, 1984, 1988 respectively, the suspects were found with149 sheets of “black paper” with a value of $14,900, and the chemicals used in producing counterfeit money.
 
During interrogations, the suspects admitted to blackmailing and using counterfeit money.
