صدر عن المديرية العامة لقوى الامن الداخلي ـ شعبة العلاقات العامة البلاغ التالي:

" توافرت معلومات للمجموعة الخاصة في وحدة الشرطة القضائية، عن مكان تواجد أحد الأشخاص المطلوبين للقضاء، وهو: ر. ز. ( مواليد عام 1976، لبناني) مطلوب للقضاء بموجب 12 مذكرة توقيف وخلاصة حكم بجرائم تجارة المخدرات وتعاطيها ومقاومة رجال السلطة.

على الفور، قامت قوة من المجموعة المذكورة بملاحقته في محلة صحراء الشويفات، حيث كان على متن سيارة نوع "غراند"، فحاول الفرار لكن سيارته اصطدمت بآليتين عسكريتين، فتم توقيفه.
