ISF arrests three on robbery charges in east Lebanon

The Internal Security Forces  announced the arrest of three men on charges of robbery in east Lebanon.

In a statement, the directorate said that on June 24, 25-year-old M.H, who is a sales representative at an unnamed company, told police that he had been robbed of L.L 66,000,000 ($44,000) in addition to cellular phone recharge cards, all belonging to the company.

He continued to tell police that he had been robbed when he was passing through Barr Elias in a company car, as two men broke the car's windows and robbed him.

After investigation, and upon arresting M.H, the ISF were able to find out that he had plotted this scheme with others, of whom police were able to arrest W.H and M.A, both aged 22.

The suspects were referred to the judiciary for further investigation.
