صدر عن المديرية العامة لقوى الأمن الداخلي ـ شعبة العلاقات العامة البلاغ الاتي: "بتاريخ 8/11/2018 أقدم كل من:ا. ج.(مواليد العام 1999، سوري) و:م. م.(مواليد العام 1998، سوري) على ضرب المدعو: ع. ا.(مواليد العام 1972، لبناني)، ونشل محفظته اليدوية وفي داخلها أوراق ثبوتية ومبلغ 900 ألف ل.ل. وهاتف خلوي.
بعد نحو 20 دقيقة من هذه العملية، تمكنت دورية من فصيلة الأشرفية بعد التنسيق مع غرفة عمليات شرطة بيروت بمؤازرة دورية من مفرزة استقصاء بيروت ودورية من فوج الطوارئ، من توقيف الأول. التحقيق جار بإشراف القضاء المختص والعمل مستمر لتوقيف شريكه".
