The Internal Security Forces has arrested suspected members of a gang involved in distributing counterfeit money, a statement from the agency reported Tuesday.

The ISF’s Information Branch arrested Lebanese nationals M.R., born in 2000, Y.D., born in 1988 and Aa.M., born in 1978, for allegedly distributing counterfeit $100 bills in the Sidon town of Anqoun and a number of villages in al-Tuffah.

The ISF found $9,800 in forged $100 dollar bills in Aa.M.’s property, as well as $600 of counterfeit money that had circulated in Anqoun and the surrounding areas.
