The Internal Security Forces arrested a man suspected of belonging to a gang that carried out several acts of robbery in Beirut and Mount Lebanon
The man, identified as Lebanese national H.Y., born in 1994, was arrested Wednesday in Burj al-Barajneh. H.Y. had six warrants out for his arrest on robbery charges
The ISF said the suspect admitted to belonging to the gang and committing over 20 acts of robbery, including armed robbery and pickpocketing. The statement said the gang members robbed their victims by impersonating security forces or by force, using guns and knives.
