The Internal Security Forces has arrested a man suspected of committing a series of robberies and car thefts in the Bekaa Valley, the security body said.
The Lebanese suspect, identified by his initials I.D., born in 1977, was arrested while driving a stolen Renault Rapid in the Bekaa area on Tuesday at 11 p.m., according to a statement from the ISF.
I.D. had 10 arrest warrants on charges of robbery, theft and firing weapons.
The suspect allegedly admitted to stealing cars and using drugs.
Investigations are ongoing, the statement said.
