The Internal Security Forces arrested one of its “most wanted” criminals outside of Chiyah south of Beirut, an ISF statement reported, detailing the suspect’s alleged history of murder, theft and drug trafficking.
A unit from the judicial police Tuesday captured the suspect, identified as Lebanese national Z.M., born in 1995, after a series of investigations and surveillance operations, the statement read.
The suspect is accused of crimes including murder, robbery, drug trafficking, theft and attempted murder. At least one of the crimes, if charged, is punishable by hard labor, the statement said.
An official investigation into the suspect is currently underway.
