أعلنت المديرية العامة لقوى الأمن الداخلي في بيان أنه "بتاريخ 6/3/2018، وفي محلّة الطيونة – بيروت، ونتيجةً للتحريات والاستقصاءات، تمكنت دورية من مفرزة الاستقصاء في وحدة شرطة بيروت، من توقيف أحد المطلوبين للقضاء، ويدعى: ن. س. ( مواليد عام 1975، لبناني) بحقه 9 مذكرات عدلية وخلاصات أحكام بجرائم: سرقة، تزوير واستعمال مزوّر، احتيال، اختلاس، إساءة أمانة، شراء مسروق، تهديد، شتم وإهانة، شك دون رصيد"، مشيرة الى أنه "سُلّم الى فصيلة طريق الشام لإجراء المقتضى القانوني بحقه، بناءً على إشارة القضاء المختص
