A man suspected of appearing in a video depicting a number of robberies was arrested by the Internal Security Forces in the southern suburbs of Beirut, the security agency said Saturday.
The suspect, arrested Thursday in Hay al-Sellom, was previously wanted for theft, according to a statement from the ISF.
Investigations leading to the arrest were initiated after a video was posted on June 21 on a website, depicting unidentified people robbing various companies and offices on different dates.
The General Directorate of the ISF is asking those victimized by the suspect to come forward to take the necessary legal measures.
