The Internal Security Forces arrested a Syrian man accused of kidnapping a Lebanese national earlier this week, a statement from the ISF announced Friday.

The arrest took place on Jan. 31 in the town of Jub Jennine in Western Bekaa. The kidnapped man, a Lebanese national, identified as A.Z., born in 1999 was found and released.

During questioning, the kidnapper, identified as Aa.H., born in 1991, confessed to the crime and said that it was due to a conflict between him and A.Z.'s brother.

The case has been handed over to the judiciary.
