The Internal Security Forces announced the arrest of thieves who had robbed shops in the northern district of Jbeil and the Beirut area of Achrafieh.

On Dec. 5, the ISF arrested Lebanese national H.Sh., born in 1981. Under interrogation, the suspect admitted to forming a robbery ring with Syrian national Aa.H., born in 2000, and Lebanese national A.Kh., born in 1992.

The suspects were arrested in the Aley areas of Khaldeh and Bshamoun.

Both suspects confessed to committing robberies using A.Kh.’s car, which was seized by ISF.

It was also reportedly revealed during investigations that H.Sh. and A.Kh. had been selling antiquities, including coins and old weapons.

The detainees were referred to the judiciary, ISF said.
