As a result of the investigation, the ISF found that two of the detainees reportedly belong to a gang that specializes in acquiring hashish and Captagon pills and smuggling them outside of Lebanon. One of the leaders, a Lebanese national, identified as H.H., born in 1973, was arrested by the ISF. He gave details of the drug operation, saying the drugs would come from the Bekaa after which they would be stored in the Boushrieh and Khaldeh warehouses before being smuggled from the country. He added that some of the drugs were stored in a warehouse in Jiyeh. The ISF seized another 400 kilograms of hashish in the last warehouse but is still looking for his partner, a Syrian national, identified as M.Z.
