The Internal Security Forces’ Information Branch arrested a gang of drug dealers in Mount Lebanon and confiscated 500 dime bags of cocaine and other illicit items, a statement from the agency said Tuesday.

The suspects were identified as Lebanese national M.M., born in 1981, and Syrian nationals M.Z., born in 1987; Aa.K., born in 1986; A.H., born in 1982; and R.Aa., born in 1982.M.Z. was caught dealing drugs red-handed in a car in Dbayeh. The details of the others’ arrests were not specified.

The five suspects were caught in possession of a total of 500 cocaine dime bags, 340 grams of hash, equipment to package the drugs, an AK-47 rifle, a gun, a knife, 10 cellphones and fake license plates.
