The Internal Security Forces have arrested an alleged drug dealer in the Jbeil town of Fidar, a statement from the ISF media office reported Sunday.

After an extensive investigation, the ISF on Jan. 5 arrested a Lebanese man identified as B.S., born in 1988, on suspicion of dealing drugs. The suspect attempted to escape in a black Mercedes car but collided with an iron gate. He then reportedly ran on foot until the ISF caught him.

B.S.’s car was also seized. Inside was found 78 g of cocaine, 48 g of freebase cocaine and 28 g of marijuana. The suspect also had a previous arrest warrant against him for drug abuse.

The ISF also stopped another Lebanese national, identified as B.F., born in 1985, suspected of buying drugs.

B.F. was found with 0.5 g of hashish, reportedly bought from B.S.
