Internal Security Forces (ISF) directorate on issued a statement saying that it managed on April 12, 2017 to stop at 23:00 a minibus carrying 31 Syrians for entering Lebanese Swiri village in Bekaa in an illegal way, knowing that the plate number of the minibus was a fake one.
ISF referred the Syrian driver as well as the 30 passengers to the judiciary, and upon investigations with the driver he admitted that he worked in favor of one of the big smugglers in the region. The minibus was seized and investigations are still ongoing with the driver to arrest other involved individuals.
