The Internal Security Forces has arrested three suspected people smugglers in northern Lebanon who allegedly ran a network that operated from Lebanon to Turkey by way of Syria. The ISF said it also seized two cars, LL333,000 ($222) and $5,100 in cash that were found with the suspects.
According to the statement, M.A. and Kh.A. confessed to having smuggled Bangladeshi nationals from Lebanon to Turkey via Syria through a number of illegal crossings since the beginning of the year, in coordination with a person in Turkey supervising the operation.
