أعلنت المديرية العامة لقوى الأمن الداخلي - شعبة العلاقات العامة أنّ "في تاريخ 3 كانون الأول 2018، ونتيجةً للاستقصاءات والتحريات المكثّفة، تمكّنت دوريات مفرزة استقصاء بيروت في وحدة شرطة بيروت من توقيف 27 شخصًا (17 لبناني، 7 من الجنسية السورية و3 من الجنسية الفلسطينية) مطلوبين للقضاء بجرائم مختلفة"
