Three Syrian nationals were arrested for smuggling Syrian refugees into Lebanon, the Internal Security Forces announced.

“As a result of the increased surveillance of people smuggling from Syria into Lebanon, the ISF arrested M.B., B.Aa. and H.J.,” an ISF statement read. The three men were born in 1995, 1998 and 1999 respectively.

The ISF also said that it arrested 24 other Syrian nationals for entering the country irregularly. An unregistered car allegedly used to transport people covertly over the border was also seized.
