The Internal Security Forces said in a statement it arrested a 29-year-old Syrian national, identified as M.Q, for allegedly smuggling people into Lebanese territory.

He was transferred to authorities for prosecution, the statement added.

The same report also said that the ISF arrested 14 Syrian nationals - including seven children under the age of 10 – for attempting to illegally cross the border. The arrests were made in the town of Suweiri in the Bekaa. It was not made clear whether or not M.Q. was accused of smuggling the same group of people.
