ISF arrested two men on drug charges

The Internal Security Force’s Anti-Drug Bureau in south Lebanon raided a factory and warehouse in Tayr Debba, being used to manufacture narcotics, arresting two people - the owner and another suspect.

During the course of the operation, the authorities seized pills and equipment used in the narcotics’ manufacture and packaging.

Upon arresting the suspects, investigators seized 6 kilograms of marijuana in various forms, 3 kilograms of hashish, 30 grams of hash oil, two weighing instruments, ingredients for manufacturing hashish and three computers.

The force also seized a plastic tent used for growing marijuana as well 11 potted marijuana plants.

The two men were transferred to the relevant authorities.
