The Internal Security Forces arrested a suspected blackmailer and extortionist on the 25 of September 2017.
The Lebanese national, identified as H.Kh., born in 1977 was accused of taking compromising pictures of women and then extorting them for money.
The suspect was apprehended after police investigation prompted by a judicial order. At the time of his arrest, he was carrying two cell phones and a computer containing pictures and videos of numerous naked women in compromising positions. They also contained documents reportedly detailing the money that different women had paid.
During the questionning, he confessed and said he had been running the scam since 2014 and claimed numerous victims in Lebanon and abroad.
