The Internal Security Forces arrested a suspect wanted on multiple charges at the Dahr al-Baidar checkpoint in the Zahle region.
 
The suspect, identified as Palestinian H.A., born in 1994, had warrants out for his arrest in connection to crimes including attempted murder, breaking and entering, fleeing the scene of a crime, drug-related offenses and possession of a knife.
 
He was arrested on suspicion of transporting a quantity of drugs found in the van he was traveling in, including 1 kilo of hash, 20 grams of marijuana and 20 captagon pills.
 
The suspect was referred to a local drug enforcement office in the Bekaa for further questioning.
