Police made two arrests on October 22 in the old city of Sidon for drug dealing, as part of a crackdown on drug users and promoters in the southern city.
 
Internal Security Forces’ Information Branch arrested Lebanese Hamza H. and Palestinian Mahmoud Z. at their houses separately.
 
It is believed that they were under the influence of drugs when they were arrested. They were referred to the relevant judicial authorities in an attempt to track down where they obtained the drugs.
