The Internal Security Forces announced the arrest of 30 Syrian nationals trying to enter the country illegally through the Bekaa Valley.
Nine children were among those detained in the town of al al-Suwaira al-Bekaa.
The statement said that the arrests came as part of an ongoing effort to combat people trafficking and irregular entry from Syria to Lebanon.
The detainees were referred to the judiciary.
